Jason Covington has been writing professionally for 20 years in addition to teaching writing at eight colleges and universities. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Pepperdine University and a Master’s degree in literature from Southern Illinois University.
Covington self-published his first book of fiction in 1988 and has been writing ever since. He lives in the Silicon Valley, California, where he manages communications projects for technology companies.
Covington started fishing at the age of 5. He has fished for bass all over the United States. He became passionate about fisheries research science and developed a new formula for raising the world-record bass.
